We had a fantastic stay at Joanna's beach front rental! The house was exactly as depicted, clean, and the location was perfect with easy access to the beach, restaurants, and local attractions. The owner, Joanna, was very communicative and responsive, making the check-in process/stay a breeze. We highly recommend this property and would definitely rent from her again.

It was a great stay at Joanna’s. The location is perfect for those visiting the resort. There’s so much to so at Massanutten and Joanna’s home is so convenient to all of those attractions. Highly recommend her place to anyone seeking comfort and proximity to what Massanutten has to offer.

Had a lovely stay at Joanna’s place for Christmas with my whole family. We fit three families into the house and it was great to be together under one roof. Love DuPont circle area, and lots to do nearby. Joanna was very responsive when we had any questions or issues.

Joanna’s Place made for an exceptional experience from start to finish. The home is located in a safe area, an easy 10‑minute drive from DC’s major landmarks. The interior was spotless and arranged for comfort. It had practical touches, such as fresh towels, a full set of utensils, quality coffee, and a selection of spices. It made the space feel like a welcoming home. While the house is on a busy street, noise was minimal and did not disrupt our stay. There’s no street parking, but Joanna’s recommendation to lease a spot at the gas station across the street was a great convenient solution. Joanna provided detailed and precise instructions ahead of time and reached out a couple of times to ensure we had everything we needed. Her attentiveness was highly appreciated. I’m not a frequent Airbnb user, but I’ve traveled extensively around the world to understand what excellent hospitality looks like. Joanna’s Place represents that standard: a flawless stay and a host who clearly cares.

Beautiful home and views of the mountains, they’ve done a nice job with renovations. Joanna was a very friendly host, I would definitely stay again. Several options for kid friendly activities nearby, my 9-year old loves the water park.

The house is amazing and very close to the ski slope!

We adored our stay at this fantastic gem. Not only are the accommodations clean, spacious, welcoming, and comfortable - the oceanfront balcony is amazing. We thoroughly enjoyed the view and the sounds of the ocean as well as the star gazing and shooting stars during the Geminids meteor shower. Joanna is a wonderfully kind and thoughtful host. We enjoyed our correspondence and her comfortable accommodations and hope to return again soon.
